Dr. Corrin (Corri) Spiegel brings more than twenty-five years of leadership experience to work that sits at the intersection of strategy, organizational capacity, community, and consequence.

As President and CEO of Arete Strategic, Corri helps leaders and organizations cultivate discernment, align what matters, and build coherence across people, purpose, performance, and place. Her work is grounded in the belief that organizations are shaped not only by plans and goals, but by the quality of their decisions, the strength of their relationships, the capacity of their people, and the context in which their work takes place.

Corri’s leadership experience spans public, private, and nonprofit environments, with deep expertise in local government, economic development, organizational leadership, strategic innovation, community engagement, and complex public-facing work. During her tenure as a City Administrator, she led community development initiatives, advanced organizational performance, redefined service delivery models, and guided teams through periods of transition with clarity and purpose.

Her work is informed by both academic rigor and practical responsibility. Corri holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a research focus on intrinsic motivation, positive psychology, and organizational commitment. She also earned a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Strategic Innovation and Change Management.

As a Certified Economic Developer and an ICMA Credentialed Manager, she brings a disciplined understanding of strategy, governance, leadership, and place-based impact. Her perspective is shaped by years of making decisions inside real systems, where people, policy, performance, community expectations, and public trust all have to be held together.
